Link Popularity |
A site can also have increased ranking or 'popularity' by having a number of websites linking to them. This is called Link Popularity.
To help this to optimise your ranking online, the quality of the link is important. An old SEO spamming trick was called a 'Link Farm'; these showed an artificially high number of links that were usually computer generated and presenting a false but positive result to the search engines. This has now been closed down.
Good quality link popularity is however very powerful when part of a Optimisation campaign and Numo provide this as part of your Bespoke product.

| Reciprocal Links |
The first type of link is a reciprocal link; this means that you provide a link from your website and the target reciprocates with a link to you.
These are effective if done well and from sites with good ranking and relevant websites.
A level of reciprocal links are included in the Bespoke packages dependant on the packages and we have found them to be a powerful addition in improving client positions.
We are not however trying to fool a search engine, we are simply trying to raise your profile.

| Direct One Way links |
Another method of linking is direct links that are simply into your site without a reciprocating link from you. These are very worth while, as they are presenting to the search engine that your site is important enough for someone to simply link to you.
As you can imagine these are incredibly time consuming and difficult to obtain, so we charge these in addition to all but the highest packages and they vary dependant on the market.
On the whole though, we cannot under state the power of a link into your site from a good quality relevant website.
